Wild Weed Walk Wednesdays

Join for my favorite classes of the year! Many wild weeds are popping up this month. We'll be identifying flowers, plants and trees while we visit wild places in Butler County. We'll cover ethnobotanical uses like plants for food, medicine and craft and have fun together.

All classes on Wednesdays in April from 6-7:30. All walks are $10 each or $25 for the whole month of fun!

April 3 Meet at Audobon Succop- see gorgeous large trees, ground covers and some rare woodland plants.
April 10 Meet at Morraine State Park- see hawthorn trees, skunk cabbage and listen to the chorus of spring peepers
April 17 Meet at McConnell's Mills -Gorgeous trillium, bloodroot, cohoshes and more line the trail here!
April 24 Meet at Preston Park - a new one for me! I wonder what we'll find?

Kids and caregivers always welcome! Plant walks are slow paced, less than a mile in distance and involve standing and talking for up to ten minutes at a time. Some trails will be muddy. Weather cancellations will occur at 2 pm on the day of the walk if necessary.
