We're Hiring!

We are hiring part time field positions at our Herb and Flower Farm this season:

A spring field hand to help us get a jump on the season! Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 31- June 30, 9 am- 4 pm. A mix of greenhouse and field work like prepping fields, planting, cultivating and harvesting plants

A full season field hand who wants in depth experience at a small scale diversified herb and flower farm, March 24 - October 9 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9 am-4 pm. Learn about working with perennials and annuals, how to identify, care for, and harvest up to 35 medicinal herbs throughout the growing season.

Just to make sure we're the right fit, the first 2 weeks will be a training/trial period, paid at $14/hour after which you'll get a raise. At the end of the season you'll receive a bonus. Lunch breaks are paid.

In March and April we will be working in the greenhouse seed starting and in the fields cultivating plants when weather permits. In April and May we'll be prepping fields and planting. In May through October we'll be cultivating, weeding and harvesting.

You:

- are able to work all day on your feet lifting heavy things whether it’s raining, sweltering, or beautiful outside.
- work well alone and with others, give and accept feedback and are able to pay attention to details while seeing the big picture.
- have and wear appropriate work attire like sturdy shoes and outerwear if appropriate. Brings lunch/snacks, water bottles. Safety gear provided.

Our Farm Culture:
We are a queer woman-owned business.
We take work seriously and we start on time with a morning meeting to outline the tasks of the day.
While the work here is fast paced and intense, we also take time to joke around and have great conversations, usually over weeding.
